It is required to wear appropriate clothing (avoid swimsuit or shirtless).

Comfortable footwear (preferably hiking boots) or open sandals are recommended. Avoid wearing flip-flops.

It is forbidden the consumption of food and drinks into the cave. Visitors are however allowed to bring with them water or drinks in reusable containers (thermal bottles).

It is forbidden to touch and lean against karst concretions.

Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is not allowed.

It is recommended to use sun protection and a sunscreen hat during your journey on the stairway.

During your excursion keep a sufficient amount of water with you to stay hydrated.

Entering the cave via the stairway is not recommended for people with particular heart disease or respiratory failure.

Pets are allowed. Dogs must be kept on a leash and must wear a muzzle.

There are no toilets inside the cave. Toilets are available at the refreshment facility which is next to the ticket office in the entrance forecourt to the stairway “Escala del Cabirol” at the top of the cliff.

In the car park at the top of the cliff there is a refreshment facility.
